Young Thought-Shape Makers Face Persecution in Labrador
By Jessica Hung, Utopian Reader
According to a recent made contact with a young thought-shape maker
from a distant land called Labrador, sources indicate that they are trying to
escape pursuit from authorities of their own land.
Persecuted by her own people, the young girl is currently travelling
with two other thought-shape makers, one to be her older brother and the other
his friend, though none possess think-pictures ability quite like hers, said
Director Reed.
“We have never before made contact at anything like this distance,”
she said. “It is truly amazing that we have discovered this young girl, who can
make stronger think-pictures than anybody at all.”

According to the young girl, the Labrador authorities believed that
the three young thought-shape makers are deviations, and had authorized a
reward for the capture of the escaped “Deviations”.
“We must send help to them at once,” urged Director Reed, “And by
all means, we must protect the little girl at all costs, for she is unique and
tremendously important.” Director Reed goes on explaining, “We should be grateful that we are fortunate enough to live on this Island, where persecutions of our kind won’t happen. We should feel sorry not only for those being persecuted, but also for those who persecute. They are the remnants of the Old People, who will never be able to understand one another as we could. They have become history without being aware of it, determined still that there is a final form to defend: soon they will attain the stability they strive for, in the only form it is granted- a place among the fossils.”
Although the precise location of the three children has yet to be confirmed,
a group of search party, with Director Reed being one of its members, has
departed for north-east in hope to bring them back to safety.
